Check smoke and CO alarms when clocks fall back

As residents set clocks back one hour for the end of daylight saving time on Sunday, Nov. 1, the Lombard Fire Department reminds everyone to also check smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Replacing batteries and testing alarms is an easy way to help keep homes safe, the village said. For questions, contact the Fire Prevention Bureau at (630) 620-5750.
