Manhole and storm drain inspections begin Oct. 27

The village's contractor, Gewalt Hamilton, will begin inspecting manholes and storm drain inlets along E. St. Charles Road, Western Avenue and St. Charles Place on Tuesday, Oct. 27, weather permitting. The inspections are expected to take about two weeks. Motorists may encounter temporary lane closures while crews work, but traffic will remain open; allow extra time, slow down and use caution, the village said.
