If something is happening in Lombard that neighbors should know about, tell us what you saw and where we can confirm it, such as a village notice, a school letter, or a post from the organization involved. We report what we can confirm from a public source, and we link to that source in the story.

If we got something wrong, please email editor@thelilacpost.com with the story’s link, what needs fixing, and where the right information lives. Our corrections policy explains how we handle it.
Event listings
To suggest an event for the calendar, send the name, date, time, place, and a link to the host’s own page about it. We list events that are open to the public, and every listing links back to the host.
Letters to the editor
Letters run on the Opinion page. Please sign your name and keep it to about 300 words. Anonymous letters don’t run, though we will withhold a street address on request.
